Description
A classic String wall system in good vintage condition, originally designed in 1949 by Nils Strinning for String Furniture.
Since its introduction, the String system has evolved from a groundbreaking concept into one of the most beloved icons of Scandinavian design. Its elegant wire side panels combined with minimalist wooden shelves create a light, architectural appearance while offering exceptional practicality.
Each component of the system is carefully designed, allowing shelves and units to be positioned freely within the structure. This flexibility creates an almost infinite variety of configurations, making the system adaptable to many different interiors and storage needs.
This particular setup includes 10 shelves, two large ladders, and four smaller ladders, creating a balanced and highly functional shelving arrangement suitable for books, decorative objects, or everyday storage.
The system is in good vintage condition, showing normal signs of use consistent with age, which add to its authentic mid-century character.
