Description
The string wall system was designed in 1949 and over the years has evolved from being innovative to one of the staples of Scandinavian design. Each component of the system is well thought through and there is an almost infinite variety of combinations that can be made as each unit and shelf can be fitted wherever required.
This 1950s extra large example features two cupboards, two drawers, three shelves and a desk. The cupboard and one shelf has a couple of small chips to the veneer, which are normally not seen. The depth below is for the desk; the shelves are 31 cm deep., each unit/shelf can be fitted wherever required).
Height: 115cm, Depth: 31 / 46 (desk)cm, Width: 239cm
