An outstanding and highly sought-after set of six original chairs selected by Charlotte Perriand for the renowned Les Arcs ski resort in the French Alps, circa 1960.
These exceptionally well-preserved chairs feature elegant chrome-plated tubular steel frames with generous, thick black leather seats, creating the perfect combination of Perriand’s characteristic functionalism, comfort and understated elegance.
The black leather is in excellent original condition, retaining a beautiful, subtle patina with only minimal signs of age and use. The chrome frames are equally well preserved, giving the set a particularly refined appearance.
The generous proportions and comfortable form make these chairs equally suited to a large dining table, contemporary interior, hospitality project, restaurant, chalet or high-end residential setting.
