Stunning chair designed by Bernt Petersen and made by schiang furniture makers, lovely organic shape, fabric is in lovely vintage condition.
Bernt Petersen finished his training as a cabinetmaker in 1957 and continued his training at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts’ Furniture School, graduating in 1960. He was employed with Hans J. Wegner and taught at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Architecture. In 1963 he established his own design practice and simplified his name.
